Just wanted to let everyone know of a race memorial day weekend. It is
the 1st annual 2006 Loop the Lake at Lake Blackshear 5K Run & 1 mile
Walk on Saturday May 27, 2006. Proceeds benefit Graceway Recovery
Residence, Alpha Center, and Ruth's Cottage/The Patticake House. It
starts at 8:30am. You can register through Active.com or get the flyer
at www.loop-the-lake.com This is a Run & See Georgia Grand Prix race.
I don't know if any of you have done the GA Veterens Triathlon or
Duathlon there at Lake Blackshear, but it is a different 5K course.
You actually loop in and out of the Lake. Should be fun. Hope many of
you can make it. The Retreat is there for brunch afterwords and it has
great food.
