Alice and I are in our 40’s – Alice is in the 45 to 49 age group – Todd is in the 40 to 44 age group - we have two children and have lived in Valdosta since 04/02.

 

Alice is a two time Olympic Trials Qualifier and Competitor in the Marathon: ’88 and ’92 where she placed 55^th and 32^nd respectively. PR’s of 2:44:15 [marathon], 1:16:10 [half-marathon], 34:46 [10K], 16:54 [5K]. As a Master’s runner, she has PR’s of 17:45 and 38:42 for the 5K and 10K. Runs 6 days per week.

 

Todd has PR’s of 2:21:03 [marathon], 1:22:05 [25K], 1:06:48 [half-marathon], 50:55 [10 mile], 30:45 [10K] and 14:43 [5K].  Won the Atlanta Marathon in my marathon debut with a 2:29:10 in ’83. In Boston Marathon, placed 52^nd and 39^th  

overall in ’88 [2:22:46] and ’92 [2:24:13].

 

Alice and I improved when we started training under Roy Benson with effort based training using heart rate monitors.  

 

We are anxious to help the people in the South Georgia area in any fashion we can to get and stay active.
