Two people from the Valdosta area showed up in Camilla for the 19^th Annual Gnat Days 5K – held Friday may 5^th at 7PM. The journey to Camilla went through a number of rain showers – however all looked clear for the race…until 6:50 PM…then the rain clouds moved quickly into place. We could hear thunder…but saw no lightening at the time the race started. Just minutes later though….crash, boom bah – down pour - Made for a rather wet race, and a wonderful light display.

I placed 2^nd OA with an 18:23, the Masked Avenger placed 4^th OA at 19:00.
