Below is the summer schedule for the Duluth IceForum freestyle sessions. In another note, Moe has said that they are adding a 5:20-6:00pm on Thursday, but I don't know when.
The new schedule starts on the Tuesday, May 26.

-------------- Original message from "Rob Lichtefeld" <rlichtefeld@...>: --------------
Tami Mickle, my pairs coach, has asked if I will contact our club's members about the Atlanta FSC 50th year reunion.
Since several of our members have at one time or another been members of the Atlanta FSC or been skaters in Atlanta over the past 50 years, she thought they may be interested in the reunion.
The price is $40.00 per person for non-members of Atlanta FSC. The banquet is open to anyone, member or non-member. So, if you know of anyone that used to skate in Atlanta, whether as a member of the AFSC or not, you may want to pass this along.
The deadline for reservations is this Friday, April 10.
This is a link to the activities for the reunion weekend:
The deadline for the Atlanta Open is only 10 days away - April 24.
The competition is being held at the Cooler in Alpharetta and will be from June 11-13.
The announcement and application can be downloaded from here:
http://atlantafsc.org/
I will be out of town next week, so won't be able to sign applications at the Duluth rink. However, Lone Barama can sign applications. Marianne Campbell, Christine Wootton and Kristel Fuchs can sign applications at the Town Center rink.
Also, Lori Faris, our Membership Chair, should have emailed you a Letter of Good Standing when you renewed last year. If you have that letter, you can attach it to your application, and you won't need a signature.

We have set a date for the Club's Annual End of Year Banquet and Meeting -
May 16, 2009
Moe Brooks is working out the details, and we will get them out as soon as they are finalized.
Also, she has asked if people can e-mail or burn pictures their skaters from this year so she can create a slideshow for skaters? They can e-mail them to mbrooks@...
or if you have a CD please mail them to her at the Duluth IceForum.

The only events from Worlds that will be shown on broadcast TV this year will be the Ladies Long program on Saturday night. However, if you have cable or satellite, you can see more on the Oxygen channel.
If anyone finds a webcast that is showing the events live (sometimes the European or Japanese sites do this), please let me know and I'll send the info out.
Tina Washington will be competing this year at the ISU World Figure Skating Championships in L.A.
Tina trains at the Duluth IceForum, and has been a member of the Georgia FSC since 2002,
She will be travelling there this Saturday to be on hand for the opening ceremonies.
We will be having a send-off party for her at the Duluth IceForum this Friday at 5:50 - during Club Ice. All are welcome to attend and wish Tina "Good Luck"!
I bought some tickets at a group rate for Gwinnett Ballet’s Nutcracker on December 20th at
7:30. The entire Silas family will be performing in this show!

Jack: Party Dad
If anyone feels like going to the ballet and getting into the Christmas spirit, please let me know. The tickets are $18 each and I have about 6 tickets that
I don’t need.

Wanted to warn that the this Saturday’s (11/29) morning freestyles
at The Cooler are all cancelled as well -- hate to see anyone make the trip for
nothing.

Skaters,
The
Duluth rink is hosting some hockey tournaments the next 2 weekends and this
will be impacting the Freestyle sessions.
Right
now I know that this Saturday's (November 29) sessions, public, group and
freestyles are cancelled.
Also,
next weekend, the Friday afternoons sessions on December 5, including club ice
are cancelled after 4:00pm.
Also,
the Monday morning public sessions on December 8 have been cancelled.
The
best thing to do the next few weeks is check with the front desk to make sure
the sessions you are coming to are going to held.
Rob

Hope everybody is doing well these days. I really miss not skating and seeing
everybody. I had a nerve block on my back last week; if it works the way it
should, I may be able to at least skate in circles without all the pain.
