Below is the summer schedule for the Duluth IceForum freestyle sessions. In another note, Moe has said that they are adding a 5:20-6:00pm on Thursday, but I don't know when.

The deadline for the Atlanta Open is only 10 days away - April 24.

The competition is being held at the Cooler in Alpharetta and will be from June 11-13.

I will be out of town next week, so won't be able to sign applications at the Duluth rink. However, Lone Barama can sign applications. Marianne Campbell, Christine Wootton and Kristel Fuchs can sign applications at the Town Center rink.

Also, Lori Faris, our Membership Chair, should have emailed you a Letter of Good Standing when you renewed last year. If you have that letter, you can attach it to your application, and you won't need a signature.

Lone Barama has asked that I let everyone know that the club will be holding a send-off party for the skaters going to Adult Nationals.

The send off party will be this Friday night, April 17, at 6:30pm, right after Club Ice at Duluth.

The 2009 US Figure Skating Governing Council will be held May 2, 2009 in Buffalo, NY.

This is the annual business meeting for US Figure Skating, and where all the rules changes, bylaws changes, etc. take place.

USFSA has posted the info about the meeting on the website here:

I've found two websites that are broadcasting the World Championships live.

I've only gotten it to work using Internet Explorer, and with one I had to install SilverLight (the new Microsoft media player/browser add-in)

The US feed:

There should be a link that says "Watch Live" or "Watch It Now".

The Turkish feed:

Hopefully, these will work tomorrow for Tina's skate!!!!

The results are being updated realtime at the following site:

Choose the "Starting Order/Detailed Classification" for the event that you want to see. They only post it when the starting order has been set.

The draw for the Ladies Short is at 2:45 Pacific Time today. So, at about 6:00pm Eastern time, we should know when Tina skates tomorrow in the short.

Hope everybody is doing well these days.  I really miss not skating and seeing
everybody. I had a nerve block on my back last week; if it works the way it
should, I may be able to at least skate in circles without all the pain.
