At Gwinnett Medical Center (off 120)  and the Hudgins Professional Building (Off Pleasant Hill) they have the Gwinnett Sports Rehab. The excercise facility allows the public to join at very affordable rates.  It is $30 a month for an individual membership and $45 for a couple. The hours are a little more limited than regular health clubs, they are :
 
Gwinnett Med: Mon-Thursday 7:30 am - 7:00 pm. Friday 7:30 am - 5:30pm. Saturday 8:00am-11:30am.
 
Hudgins Bldg: Mon & Thurs 7:30am - 7:00pm. Tues, Wed, & Fri 7:30am-5:30pm
 
They offer personal training for $30/30 minutes or $45/60 minutes and less if you buy a training package or do a buddy package.
 
We thought that will the facility so close to Gwinnett Center you all might be interested in knowing that this was available.

I'm sorry to have to tell you that Ricardo Pena passed
away this past Saturday.

I have very few details, other than he went to the doctor
last week, was diagnosed with cancer and was admitted to
the hospital at that time.

Ricardo was 44, an adult skater at the Town Center rink,
and had been a member of the Atlanta FSC and the Georgia
FSC.

There will be a viewing from 7:00-9:00pm on Wednesday,

Since several of you said that you had problems viewing
the videos, I've uploaded new versions of the videos that
should work.

Just download the (Windows Only) version.  It will
have a .wmv extension.

In case I didn't get the info out to you before, I came
in 3rd of 6 in Silver Men III, and Phyllis and I came in
1st of 2 in Gold Pairs!

I still need to update my website with the totals by
country.  However, there were 130 skaters, from 15
countries at this year's event.  There were even skaters
from Russia, Australia and Japan.

I saw in the Gwinnett Metro section, page J2, of the Sunday AJC paper that the Gwinnett Arena is opening the ice for a free ice skate on June 3 from 10:00am to 4:00pm. 

There will be no ice skates available for rent, so you'll have to bring your own.  They are tearing out the ice later that day. 

I don't know any more about it than what was in the paper.
