In case you didn't check my photo blog (robl.textamerica.com) for my results,
I'll
post them here.
At the Vana Tallinn Trophy, in Tallinn, Estonia I placed 3rd out of 3 in a Gold
level
event. One of us was a Gold I skater (Loon Lee from Singapore), the other was a
Silver III skater (Bill Papineau from Ann Arbor). I skated pretty well, but
flubbed my
Lutz-Loop combination.
Tallinn was a great city to visit. We walked to the rink from out hotel. We
went to
an open-air museum. We rode buses, trams and trolleys. And, the food was
great.
If you get a chance, I would definitely recommend it. However, having the sun
come up at 4:00am and not set until 11:30pm took some getting used to.
At the Mountain Cup, in Villard-de-Lans, France I place 3rd out of 5 in the
Silver II
event. I hit everything, but wasn't really as fast as I could have been.
I hope to have some photos, and at least one video uploaded soon.
