I thought I would pass along a skating update.
On May 19, Conchita and I fly to Tallinn, Estonia, through Paris, for me to
compete
in the Vana Tallinn Trophy. This is a new all adult competition, organized by
Piret
Valamaa, the lady that stayed with us last year before the Peach Classic
competition at my rink.
The competition is May 22, and I don't know when I skate, she hasn't posted a
schedule yet. When I am not at the rink, we get to tour Tallin. It is supposed
be a
beautiful medievel walled city. And, we will probably do a ferry trip over to
Helsinki,
Finland for a day.

On Tuesday, May 25, we fly back to Paris. We are renting a car to drive down to
Villard-de-Lans, the site of the Mountain Cup competition. The same place I
competed 2 years ago. We will probably stop along the way on Tuesday night
somewhere in the Burgundy region. (Any recommendations are welcome - Beaune
or Dijon?)
The competition is all day Friday, all day Saturday, and a half day on Sunday.
I
compete on Saturday May 29, around 11:45am.

On Sunday, we will drive to Lyon to find a hotel for the night. We have an
early
flight out of Lyon, through Zurich, back to the US.
I hope to post photos and messages on my photo blog from my camera phone:

It worked pretty well from Europe last year. This is also where I will post my
results.
Since, there should be only a few guys in both of my events, that even if I come
in
last like I did at Adult Nationals, I'll probably still medal!
