*** Upset Ridge To River racer asked to leave Monitor Park ***

A disgruntled Ridge To River racer was booted from Wenatchee
River County Park in Monitor after throwing fireworks at race officials,

a Chelan County Sheriff’s Office dispatch log says.

Sheriff Mike Harum said this morning the man
was upset at the officials, but Harum didn’t know why.

The man was told to leave or he would be
arrested for trespassing, the dispatch log said.

Sheriff’s deputies were called to the park at 11:49 a.m. Sunday.

Ridge To River Board of Directors President Shawn Rush
said this morning he had not heard of the incident.
