3G Bikes, Gary Silva's new company, will be distributing its line of
city cruisers, choppers and tandems directly from the Taiwanese
factory in 2004. The plan lowers the price of the bikes by 20 percent
or more, Silva said.

Silva, the former owner of an 8-store Florida chain,
said he is committed to bringing business back to the IBD.

"I have worked things out with the factory and with UPS and
the plan is really beautiful," Silva said. "My dealers will save
considerable amounts of money."

Silva's first container of '04 bikes will be
delivered directly to Las Vegas for Interbike.

Silva is also encouraging retailers to use PayPal, a free
Internet-based payment software that can be tied to any
bank account and offers instant payment verification.
