*** Redline AMs Score Factory Win & Podium Sweep On Hometurf ***

Pasco, Washington -- 03/25/2006
Even though the race was held 3 hours from Redline
headquarters, Eastern Washington is still deemed as
“Redline Country” and the Factory Squad came out
in force from all over the U.S. – from Eugene, OR to
Toms River, NJ, from Bremerton, WA. and Dayton, OH.

By far, the one class that was completely owned by Redline
racers was 10x; with three guys in the red, white and black
battling for the top slots. Definitely the one to beat was Logan
Owen; a seasoned vet of this class who is weeks away from
turning 11. The freshman of the class was Dakota Senger,
who had celebrated his 10th birthday just a few weeks after
his ABA Grands 9cruiser victory.

[This race also marked Dakota’s one year anniversary of riding
for Redline, in which he has vastly stepped up his game]. Both
of these NW rippers ride for the Factory roster and would be
vying for the win, no matter who was in front of them, or what
jersey they wore.

And then there was the possible spoiler; Dillon Behen
– who rides for the Co-Redline~Gregg’s Greenlake team.

Dillon has really been coming on strong as of late, and with
his snowboarding strength from the winter, was poised to
steal the win away and try to earn himself a slot on the
factory roster.

Between these three, it looked likely that Team Redline
could capture their first ever “Amateur Podium Sweep.”

TRIVIA: Only twice has the Redline team performed a full
Podium sweep—once in Pro Cruiser (with Hadan, Carne$
and Kamakazi in Eugene, OR.), and once in Vet Pro (with
Carne$, Ham and Parry at Lancaster, CA.).

On Saturday, the chances for a full Redline podium in
10x and 10cruiser didn’t happen due to some exciting
bar-bangin’ action between Senger and Owen. Logan
and Dakota were evenly matched all weekend and went
at it like they were arch rivals, opposed to be teammates.

Both kids want to win just as bad as the other; which always
makes for some great spectating! While Owen wound up with
both wins, Senger was applying the pressure like a chiropractor
and crashed out while trying win-making moves in Pasco’s
wide-open berms.

On Sunday, it finally happened in the 10x main:

1 LOGAN OWEN, FACTORY REDLINE (WA.)
2 DAKOTA SENGER, FACTORY REDLINE (OR.)
3 DILLON BEHEN, REDLINE
~GREGGS GREENLAKE (WA.)

…the Redline Am’s first-ever podium domination.
It took 4 tries, but they finally pulled it off!

Partly thanks to those class wins by Logan, as well as
JESSICA RODOLF (winning 15girls both days) and
the elder Am JEFFREY UPSHAW (winning 17-18x
both days), backed up by some hard-earned 2nds from
ANTHONY DeROSA (11x) and top scores by
TANNER CANTWELL (8x), the team pulled off impressive
enough scores to one-up the Redman tribe on Saturday.

This marked Redline’s second Team win so early in the
’06 season. And again justifies the underdog squad’s
2005 Golden Crank award for “Team of the Year.”

The ol’ RL adage that “It all Starts with a Redline” was
proven again and again at the Great Northwest Nationals;
with Redline bikes outnumbering all other brands on an
average of 3 to 1. Redline congratulates those Redline
users who made and won their mains, and thanks all of
you for your continued support!

To all the Future Bubba’s of the World; we salute you.
