The Gateway Grizzlies family extends its wishes for a speedy recovery to
first base coach Nick Jakich who suffered a heart attack on Friday. Nick has
been with the Grizzlies since the team's inception, and our thoughts and prayers
are with Nick and the entire Jakich family.

The Grizzlies are excited to have The Bank of Edwardsville, AutoTire, Med
Star and Kreiger's as corporate sponsors for the upcoming season.

It's never too soon to start making plans for the summer. We are booking
group outings and still taking season ticket orders.

Also this summer, the Grizzlies Baseball Camps will be back. There will be
three different camps. The first one is June 10-11. This camp will focus on
basic hitting fundamentals taught by Grizzlies coaches and players. The next two
camps, June 17-18 and July 19-20, will be basic skills camps taught by the
Grizzlies coaches and players. More information will be posted on our website
and be in following newsletters.

Last but not least is the Item of the Week. This week the "It's a girl
thing" tee is our featured item. It is being offered at the discounted price of
$ 14 (normally $ 17). It is gray and available in sizes S-XL. Each week a
different item in Izzy's Den will be offered at a discounted rate. If you
purchase the Item of the Week you will be entered into a drawing to get to throw
out a ceremonial first pitch at the home opener. During the home opener you will
also sit in the Sweet Seats the whole game.
