Who's in for the race on Sat morning? I have seen the course, and it will be
very kayak/ surfski friendly. ~6.2miles (10km)- out the south end of the TR and
back on the north side. A big loop.

Not sure what boat I'll be using as I probably won't have time to run down the
shore and get my surfski beforehand, so there may be the added entertainment of
me swimming to the side of the river with a K-1. Worth the price of admission
alone.
