There is a boat ramp at the Native American access site, on the west end of Lyle point. It is in a wind shadow so you would have to swim a bit - 100' or so. I

Big Tuesday at Doug's
Sailed Doug's yesterday for what turned out to be 3.2-2.8 winds, huge sea monster swells, and sand blasted calves on the beach. That's the windiest I've seen
