Its amazing what a good job they did with with the GLOW costumes, they
really captured that Comic book feel, with a bit cosplay in their too...

They took broad characters...cheerleaders, country girls, military girls
etc, and attired each in perfect outfits, so many of them suited each
girls perfectly.

Even a simple out like Spanish Red's, which sounds simple on paper, (Red
leotard, tan tights, white boots) was soooooo hot in practice, Red's
shiny spandex leotard fit her beautiful body like a glove.

WOW had outfits on a similar them, but were generally not as sexy as
their GLOW counterparts. Likewise, sexy ring attire in the WWE is
actually rare these days.

The hottest outfit during GLOW's run has to be Vine's black & blue
lingerie from the 3rd season! We only got to see her wrestle in it
once, but she sports the new garb in the opening number and during some
of the raps.

Other outfits I'm quite fond of are Jungle Woman's, Royal Hawaiian's,
Broadway Rose's and of course Godiva's floral bikini!

I really enjoyed most of the outfits the girls wore. My favorite has
got to be the one used by Tina ferrari, it would show Tina's great body
and that veil covering her butt looked very sexy on her. The bikiny
with the smiley face the California doll wore was spectacular....it
looked perfect on her. What about Dallas cowgirl outfit ??? really
great. Roxy Astor and Star had very nice outfits too.

My favorites:

* Roxy Astor's teal-colored one-piece with the champagne bubble
designs on the front similar to some of Tina Ferrari's ring outfits
* Hollywood and Vine's outfits from Season Two (zebra stripes for
Hollywood, leopard skin for Vine) and the lingerie outfits they wore
for their match against Cheyenne Cher and Sunny, taped during S3 and
aired in S4's "Another GLOWing Moment" (silver/black for Hollywood,
blue/black for Vine)

Gotta go with Vicky Victory, Cheyenne Cher's blue two-piece, Spanish
Red (OF COURSE) and (believe it or not) Daisy.

I was brainstorming some of my favorite GLOW moments the other day
(surprise!) and tried thinking of some of Ninotchka's best matches.
She had lots! Here are some that really stood out:

1 A bloodied Ninotchka beats Dallas in a bar room brawl
2 Ninotchka bests Little Feather and then Ebony in mere minutes
3 To the crowd's dismay, Ninotchka eliminates Olympia from the battle
royal to secure the win. She offers the check to McClane to get her
hands on Americana
4 Ninotchka puts Americana out of commission and the crown is put up
5 Ninotchka finally wins the GLOW crown (thanks to the editing room)
from Tina
6 The Russians trump the Farmer's Daughters
7 The Russians win ugly over the Super Heroes (great match!)
8 Ninotchka defends her crown from Roxy
9 Ninotchka beats Daisy, then gives up the crown
10 Ninotchka meets former teammate Tanya
11 Ninotchka squares off against fellow veteran Hollywood
12 Ninotchka is almost put out of commission by Widow

Did I leave any out? Ninocthcka had so many and such great storylines
and did she know how to work the crowd. I will post my fave matches
from Godiva and Hollywood before too long (guess who loves the bad
girls!).

I hired 2 pro wrestlers to train 13 girls for a fun GLOW style tag
team match on VH1 "Real Chance Of Love" that airs tomorrow Monday on
VH1 at 6 pm or 9 pm.

I'm afraid I don't share your attraction for Attache, but I totally
agree with you on Star.  She was one of my all-time favorites.  I
also thought that Thunderbolt was a quite a little hottie, although
she didn't seem to stick around very long.  I also enjoyed watching
Vicki Victory, MTV, and Tara the Southern Belle.  What can I say, I
enjoyed the finer butts.

But of course, my all-time favorite was none other than Babe the
Farmer's Daughter.

Looking back at GLOW, one thing that stands out is the outfits, for me
they are far sexier than most wrestling attire we see today. They really
played up the girls strong comic book/cosplay style gimmicks too, with
bright colours and distinctive looks.

The 80's thanks to Jane Fonda, were the era of the leotard, and that
outfit was a staple for GLOW. The cheerleaders for example, looked
amazing in their thong backed leotards, in orange, yellow and blue
spandex, each of the girls looked amazing. Then we have Spanish Red, a
vision in her red leotard, her amazing body shown at its best, she was
the hottest GLOW girl around. Star had a great look too, a thong backed
leo, with dark pantyhose, that really showed off that great physique, the
midsection left bare, again to show of her toned abs. There are so many
great outfits in GLOW...I loved Hollywood and Vine's Pink and Orange
early GLOW look, and Attache's camo leotard showed off her cute butt!

SABLE from WWF has finally joined the tournament for the first time. She thought Tina Ferrari was totally Ivory, but she didn't know that Roxy and Tina come from 1980's. She is totally from 1990's! If you like to see SABLE beat up Tina's partner Roxy, VOTE for her!

About Olympia...against Attache she bests my marine with a splash. She
goes for a splash earlier and misses. Not sure if she used that finisher
elsewhere?

There were over 70 GLOW girls, if I remember correctly, so it would
take some time to gather all of that information. Some girls had more
trademark finishers, while some never won a match, but had signature
moves (Sunny, we're talking about you and your Malibu Punch). Also,
in the 3rd and 4th seasons, the announcer did not mention the
wrestlers' weight, except for Mt. Fiji and Big Bad Mama who were 350
lbs a piece.

One for now though. . . Daisy stood 6'2" and was from parts unknown,
her finishers ranged from the side suplex to the DDT.

Did anybody else order Show 94 from gorgeousladiesofwrestling.com? I
got mine the othe week and I love it. I won't spoil too much, but the
matches include Daisy vs. Beastie, Justice vs. Godiva, Zelda vs.
Dementia in another GLOWing Moment and a 7 team tag-team battle royal.

The opening match with Daisy and Beastie must be from the 3rd season
since Sunny is seen looking on from Johnny C's table.

I think this was one of the few episodes I never seen before, so it was
a treat to finally feast on it! Sadly, there is no Tanya in it. . .

As far as I know there isnt a general source where each wrestler was said
to hail from, their weight, finisher etc...

It would be interesting to see if someone could put that together one
day, but there are so many GLOW Girls.

My fave was Attache, from Corpus Christi, Texas, and her announced weight
varied between 112, 115, and 116 pounds. I think weights were only
announced in season one?
She didnt have a finisher, but she did get beaten by everyone else's
finishers!

First Match: Reine Assail and Treise Mete vs Dementia and Jacklyn Hyde.


Reine Assail is the opposite of Roxy Astor! She wears red and she attacks Jacklyn Hyde. Also, Treise Mete is totally evil Tiffany Mellon. She is too scared of Dementia, so she wants to destroy her. Do you find them interesting? Vote for that team REINE ASSAIL and TREISE METE!

Dementia and Jacklyn Hyde are classic in our world! They have not been said about because they are underrated. Sadly, they are not popular. So, if you disagree that they are unpopular, vote for DEMENTIA and JACKLYN HYDE!

WONDER WOMAN is the heroin from the DC Comic world. So, some fans want her to join the tournament to meet some cool wrestlers and stars. But, she realizes her battle is tough. Why? VOLCANO is huge and strong. She finds it challenging. If you love her, vote for WONDER WOMAN!

VOLCANO and LITTLE VOLCANO are from GLOW. Wait, didn't we see them wrestling at GLOW? I have never seen them before. Oh, right! They are opposite of MOUNTAIN FIJI and LITTLE FIJI! Wow! That's surprising! They battle WONDER WOMAN. If you want these wrestlers beat the supernaturanl girl, vote for VOLCANO and LITTLE VOLCANO!
