Now I know that much of the time in wrestling, moves are pre-arranged and choreographed--and if I am destroying the illusion which has captivated many and which I am sure there are still some who are believers in the reality of wrestling, I do apologize.
That being said, I remember seeing the maych between Olympia and Spanish Red some years ago when GLOW was on. At the time I aactually believed that when Red was hitting her opponent that she was seriously giving her some pain. Guess I was wrong. Even though Olympia looked like she dished out some intensity to Red and just about anyone she grappled with.
I remember on of the matches where she and the California Doll were pitted against the Princess of Darkness and either Palestina or Attache. In the bout, Olympia was "hypnotized" by the Princess and she tore away her t-shirt and looked like she was "hulking out." I seem to recall David McClane commented that she was looking like the Incredible Hulk.
I remember that the tag team match of Spanish Red paired with Colonel Ninotchka was originally supposed towrestle Americana and Olympia but Olympia was suffering some sort of gym injury and the cheerleaders went on in their place.
Wish I knew some behind the scenes details about Olympia.

Hi Robert, I have to add to your response by saying it was the Southern Belles that wrestled Ninotchka and Spanish Red. Also, did Olympia's injury have to do...

I know that Starlog did a couple magazines devoted to women's wrestling, perhaps there were several, I only have 2. They each had short articles on GLOW, or...
