Questionnaire 2


1. What was your favorite match(s) for:
Seasons 1 & 2 and why? Any match with Spanish Red in it. Like the one where
Hot Rod or perhaps the Marine lifted her up and held her aloft on her
shoulder as if putting her on display for the camera. Or Palestina biting
into the thighs of Red on one occasion and Amy the Farmgirl on another.

Seasons 3 & 4 and why? Ninotchka matchbox-pinning Cheyenne Cher. Why? The
image lives on and will live forever. Also, Ninotchka bear-hugging and
squeezing the air out of Nina in the corner. Same reason.

2. What was your favorite wrestling move? Russians’ Bearhug

Who did you like executing it best? Any of the Russians but I think
Ninotchka was first and best with it. It was an enormously exciting moment
to watch one of you squeeze the breath out of the other girls. Nina was a
particularly exciting victim, as her head lolled back on your shoulder and
her legs shot straight up in the air.

and least? Why? Cheerleaders doing the splits over a downed opponent….too
lame to believe. Even lamer was Zelda the Brain crawling under the ring and
dressing up like..Salt & Pepper or whoever those two yahoos were. Had Vicki
Victory stuck inside a BBQ.

3. What was your favorite pin?

Who did it best? Ninotcha’s matchbox pin, where she bent the hapless
victim’s legs over 180 degrees. Then she would the girl and increase the
pain. Sometimes, she would hold a cigar in one hand and place the other on
the victim’s rear end or thigh to steady her. Unbelievable!

Did it always win? Absolutely. At least as far as I was concerned.

4. What Tag Team “regulars” did you like the most?

What was their most memorable match(s)? Close call…I would probably go with
Vicki Victory and Cheyenne Cher.

Why? These girls had gorgeous thighs and fleshy rear ends that absolutely
drove me nuts. Still does 20 years later.

5. What “unusual” or one-time Tag Team did you like?
Who did they go up against?

Its kind of fuzzy now but Gremlina, Dementia, and the Goofy One with the
flower suit went up against Vicki and Cher.

Outcome? Details? I think The Goofy One screwed up the match in the end
and her team lost. But she did a tremendous unforgettable job of
man-handling…er, woman-handling Vicki, knocking her out cold and then gently
lifting her up and carrying her over to a corner, eventually laying her
prone body across the top rope. WHO WROTE THESE SCENARIOS? These scripts
were right out of one of my fantasies with Vicki.

Did you want to see them as a Team again? Probably but they were too weird
to believe.

6. Who would you have wanted to see as a Tag Team?
Why? Who would you have them up against?

Roxi with anybody. For some reason, Roxi Astor seemed to get short-shrifted,
very little exposure, at least until she put on that green skin-tight suit
with her butt leaking out the bottom.

7. What match(s) do you remember as most ridiculous? -(Unlikely winner;
improbable moves and pair-ups; bad wrestling; poor sell; too silly; etc…)

Lots of them. How about Big Bad Mama putting a spell on Tulsa. This was so
bad, in every way –scripting, acting, execution-that it was embarrassing to
watch.

How would you have bought it better? Big Bad Mama should have hypnotized
Tulsa, or massaged her shoulders until she was deeply relaxed or something,
and then had her way with her.
How should it have gone?
Was it hopeless and should have just been scrapped?

Perhaps I’ve been too harsh with this one….somebody was on the right track,
having a beast like BBM terrorizing a beauty like Tulsa….didn’t quite turn
the corner with this one.

8. Now –What match is just plain most memorable? Not for any of the
previous reasons already covered. Just stuck in your memory, in spite of
ALL reason?
(-Try not to use the Susie Spirit’s elbow injury… that is too old, and
obvious. It should not be one pounded into your head by GLOW promotions or
that kind of thing…) See if you can come up with a season 3 or 4 match
instead?
Can you figure out why it is so memorable or stuck in you memory?

These types of questions are tough because its been a long time….on the
other hand, I’m an easy mark for a fleshy thigh or well-turned ankle so I
should be able to come up with something….how about a few candidates, like
Mathilda picking up Bambi in a face-to-face bearhug and trying to squeeze
the life out of her (not sure which season this was). Or how about the
scene where Beastie attacks Tulsa and tries to force some raw meat into her
mouth. Again, this sort of scene is stolen directly out of my private
fantasies, particularly where Beastie lifts Tulsa, deposits her on the ring
apron, and then rips off her skirt. Oh my.

11. Ask Major Tanya? Question for Major Tanya. Please, I have to know, did
you ever get excited when you wrapped your arms around Nina and squeezed.
Don’t mean to be clumsy here but the moment seemed so sensual. Were any of
the GLOW girls partial to the company of other girls? I’m certain that at
least two of them were, although I think both were associated with GLOW I. I
can name specific instances where they inadvertently revealed their
sexuality in the ring.
