Questionnaire 1

-Questions 3 through 8 either consider all the seasons of GLOW you
watched. (seasons 1, 2, 3 & 4), or just (seasons 3 & 4).

1. When did you first see or hear about GLOW?
The first match I recall seeing involved the Royal Hawaiian and she
broke a pineapple
-Were you at home, with family, or friends;
At homw with mom
-Did you see it on broadcast TV or videotaped;
Broadcast...it was at 12pm on Saturday here in NYC
-Did you watch it weekly as it aired;
Yes...unless I was grounded LOL
-Who did you watch it with?
Mom and some friends

2. How old were you at the time the show aired (or when you
first started watching it)?
Eight or nine

Male

3. Did you like the "Good Girls" or the "Bad Girls" best?
Good girls
-Why?
Because of the whole good wins out concept

4. Did you have a favorite Good Girl(s)?
Yes
Who and Why?
Tina Ferrari and Ashley Cartier because I wanted to be them...Mt Fiji
because she looks like my mom LOL

5. Did you have a favorite Bad Girl(s)?
Yes
Who and Why?
Hollywood...she made being bad really cool

6. How did you end up with favorites?
Well my favorites of all the girls were California Doll, Godiva, and
Tiffany Mellon...because I was known for my dead on impersonations of
them
-What was it about a certain lady that appealed to you most:
Looks; character and personality; wrestling skill; something else -
explain.
It wasn't the looks...as a gay man, it just didn't register...I guess
I just like a good battle between chicks

7. Did you like the skits and sketches between the matches?
Yes
-Did you have any favorites?
California Doll's Points To Ponder: "If people from New Jersey are
called Jersites....are people from Paris called Parisites?" CLASSIC.
That and Vicky Victory getting a pie upside her head.
-What did you like or dislike about them?
I don't think there was anything I disliked

8. Did you like the Raps?
Yes
-the large group opening?
Yes
-individual characters?
Yes
-any favorites and why?
Roxy Astor's was kinda spunky
-did you ever write any of your own for the characters or
yourself?
Yeah....I still remember it word for word too LOL

9. Did you watch woman wrestling prior to GLOW?
Not really except for Wendi Richter and Fabulous Moolah
-Where?
I think it was shown on MTV
-Did you like it more or less?
I did only because Cyndi Lauper was involved

10. What did you think of the wrestling moves and skills in GLOW?
Some of them were innovative...I never saw a male wrestler do a
handspring or a victory roll or a flying head scissors before GLOW

11. How much did the outcome of the matches matter to you, or to
your enjoyment of the show, etc.?
No matter who won i still enjoyed it
