The Memorial Park Conservancy is holding a volunteer event with the
Student Conservation Association to build a trail on the south side
of Memorial Drive between Crestwood Drive and the Park Maintenance
Facilities Driveway.

Currently, there is no existing trail here. They will be connecting
the existing park trails on this side of Memorial with a brand new
crushed granite trail, so no more having to bike along the dangerous
edge of Memorial Drive.

The dates and times we will be working are as follows:

July 11: 8:30 am- 3:15 pm
July 12: 8:30 am- 11:00 am (half day)
July 13-15: 8:30 am- 3:15 pm
July 18: 8:30 am- 3:15 pm
July 19: 8:30 am- 11:00 am (half day)

This is a great opportunity for GHORBA members to support the
convervancy and support the enhancement of Memorial Park's trail
system.
