It has come to my attention that 2 people were out at Double Lake this week
doing trail work. This work was not authorized by the Forest Service or GHORBA.
These workers asked the Park Hosts at the guard station sign a form (Paydirt, I
believe) for their work.

Doing work that is unapproved is not eligible for paydirt points. Unauthorized
trailwork is not good for the mountain biker's relationship with the land
management agency (Forest Service).

If you feel the need to do trail work, please watch for our organized work
parties. GHORBA is welcomed at Double Lake and we have a good relationship with
the Forest Service. I know you didn't know, but now you do and thanks for
helping us keep up our good standing with the Forest Service
