NEED VOLUNTEERS!! GHORBA is having its Fun Day at Double Lake Recreation Area
this Sunday. A major component to the day is our children's clinic that will
begin at 9:00 a.m. The children will see a bike safety video, be taught how to
properly wear a helmet, and identify parts of a bicycle. The children will then
be taught the finer points of mountain biking. We are looking for 2-3 more
volunteers to help teach the mountain biking portion of the clinic. We will
focus on basic skills, such as shifting, braking, hill climbing/descending,
going over small obstacles, and foot and weight placement on the bike. We will
all ride on the trails together once the class is over and enjoy free hotdogs,
hamburgers, and snacks afterwards. We hope you will consider joining us to ride
