SWEATFEST Time Trial - Bring Your 'A' Game!
Come ride new trails and see if your best time is good enough to win! GHORBA is
hosting the second Sweatfest Time Trial at Stephen F. Austin State Park on
Saturday, August 21st. Recorded laps will begin at 10:00 a.m., so plan to
arrive early to pre-ride the racecourse. Laps are $10 each; your fastest lap
will be recorded and used in the competition against other riders in your class.
Classes include Open Men, Women, and Children. Trophies for each class will be
awarded thanks to the hard work and generosity of GHORBA board member Rob "0"
Brown. Proceeds from this event benefit Houston area trail systems through the
purchase of bridge and walkway materials. To get to SFA take I-10 West to the
San Felipe exit, If you get to Sealy turn around. Go North to the Park Road and
turn left. Follow the road into the park.
