We received a phone call this morning from our contact at a Council Member's
office that only 8 kids had signed up and the other two YMCA's had not reported
their numbers. Our typical children's clinics have 50-60 children. They gave
us the option to cancel or postpone given the few number of kids confirmed. The
GHORBA board agreed and will instead host a FREE kids' clinic for our members'
children in October in association with the Take a Child Mountain Biking Day.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause at this late hour and truly
appreciate everyone who volunteered for this project. I hope you will still
consider riding with us on Sunday at Huntsville! Again, I apologize for the
inconvenience....
