(between Westcott and Detering). Ride Memorial Park early then join us for the

at the parking lot just west of the softball fields near the trails.

Bluff Creek Ranch in Warda, TX on Sunday, April 25th. We will start at 9:00 a.m.

riding!!

Trail Work Parties! GHORBA will be hosting two trail work parties before the
May 1st TMBRA PayDirt deadline.

Memorial Park Saturday, April 24th starting at 9:00 a.m. from the parking lot
just west of the softball fields on the south side of the park. Bring your
shovels, gloves, and water bottles. Please be sure to sign in and out with
Larry, Brian or Clay. We will work until about 1:00 p.m.

Stephen F. Austin State Park Saturday, April 24th starting at 8:30. We will be
cutting in new trail, so bring gloves, shovels, ax (for fallen logs), and
clippers. We typically work until about 12:30 or 1:00 p.m.

Directions to SFA park are I-10 near Sealy. The town of San Felipe is just east
of Sealy. Take the San Fleipe Exit #723-FM1458. There is Knox truck stop along
I-10.

Head north on FM1458 till you see a sign for the park. Watch your speed on
FM1458, 40-45mph, the San Felipe police love to hand out tickets. Turn left on
Park road 38. If you approach the Brazos river you have gone too far. We will be
at the swimming pool area.

Skills Clinic Yes, it's that time of year again!!! Need to learn some skillz
or improve the ones you got? Last year's riding clinic was set up to help people
of all levels from the very basic riding (shifting, braking, weight placement)
to rolling off stunts, bunny hoppin logs, and finesse skills. This year promises
to offer the same. We are shooting for Saturday, June 19th with the location to
be determined. So, mark your calendars and get ready to improve your riding!!!
Past clinics cost $20, which includes park access permit for the clinic,
insurance, and food.
