GHORBA is very happy to say that the Double Lake race was an absolute success!!!
The trails were pefect despite the rain (they drained extremely well with no mud
in sight), attendance was close to 450 riders, racers and government officials
were all happy, and GHORBA now has additional money for bridges, kids' program
needs, and other volunteer efforts!! Thank you to everyone who participated
and/or volunteered! We could not have done it without everyone's help!! As a
result of our efforts and success, GHORBA's relationship with the US Forest
Service and officials at Double Lake continues to improve with possibilities of
further trail development looking good for the future. More details to come....
