DOUBLE LAKE TRAIL WORK PARTY SUNDAY - GHORBA is going to sponsor a work
day at Double Lake Recreation Area on Sunday September 7. Time is
9:00am-1:00pm, lunch will be provided. Nothing major, mostly clearing of
the underbrush that flourishes this time of year. This is your chance to
get in some Paydirt hours as well as see and pre-ride the new fall
venue.

About and hour North of Houston in the Sam Houston National Forest is a
sweet little 7.5 mile loop. To get there take I-59 North to Cleveland.
Exit FM 2025 and drive 15-20 miles towards Coldspring Texas. Just before
town turn right into the park.


SEPTEMBER MEETING, MONDAY THE 8TH: Come join us for our monthly
meeting at Otto's BBQ (located in the rear part of the building) at 7:00
p.m. Our meetings are very social and limited to about an hour. Come
meet new people and add your 2 cents to the banter. Otto's is located
on Memorial Drive
just west of Westcott Street across from Starbucks.
