Cabin Fever? Bike collecting dust? Looking for an opportunity to help
maintain the premier mountain biking trail in your area?

Look no further, GHORBA is sponsoring a Trail Work Party at the Huntsville
State Park, Sunday, November 10, 2002 9:00 - 1:00. Lunch and Ride
afterwards!

Work will consist primarily of cleaning up from the heavy rains.

Volunteer Crews Needed/Tasks:

Fallen Tree Clearing Crew: Need to clear fallen trees that have landed over
the trails, last count there was at least 8 medium sized trees on the
trails. Bring bow saws maybe a small chain saw if we have one.

Clipping "Face Slappers"/ Trash Crew: The forest is alive a well! Lots of
recent growth, plus we need to make a run thru and pick up litter washed up
from flooding. Bring your favorite clippers, gloves.

Bridge Repair Crew: Need to replace a few boards on the boardwalk bridge
and clear debris from bridges. Bring cordless screw drivers, saw, hammer,
pry bar.

Dirt Crew: If all of the above is well staffed, we will deberm some of the
trails from the race to aid in drainage.

What to bring:

Gloves, work boots/ shoes, bug spray, tree clippers, bow saws, chain saws,
and bike, personal water, and of course - Bike

GHORBA will provide:

Coolers with Gatorade and water for filling camelbaks and bottles. Clif
bars, lunch and soft drinks. A few clippers, bow saws, trash bags, a few
shovels.
