Ladies and gents,

it is with regret that I announce the rescheduling of the GHORBA Off-Road
Clinic.

Unfortunately, we were not able to meet insurance requirements for the clinic to
be held at Memorial Park.

While the Parks Dept. has been wonderful in waving fees to help us host a clinic
that would be affordable, yet provide enough revenues to significantly re-invest
in Memorial Park's trails, we do not have a choice about insurance.

While numerous other locations have been suggested as alternate, the liability
issues remain the same.

GHORBA has been in the process of securing insurance, so we'll be able to meet
that requirement within the next couple of weeks and avoid future issues with
any entity that may be hosting us for an event.

We really regret having to reschedule, as we were looking forward to this
wonderful opportunity to serve the Mountain Biking Community in Houston and have
a lot of fun together.

However, since the spirit of the clinic was also to to create an ongoing
relationship between the Parks, GHORBA, its members and its sponsors, we have
decided to persue all necessary avenues to be able to host the clinic at
Memorial Park in the near future and for years to come.

At this time, we do not have a final date for the clinic, but we are considering
the weekend of July 13th. Please keep checking www.ghorba.org and

All the advance payments made to GHORBA via PayPal will be honored, and refunds
will be issued in case the new date does not fit your schedule.

Please, allow me to apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. I am
really saddened by this change, but I prefer to see things done right, rather
than just for the sake of doing them.

GHORBA is growing tremendously, and with the growth we are encountering many new
issues that we tackle as they come. We are hoping that the few set backs that
we are encountering now are going to help us grow stronger and more professional
as an organization, so we may serve better Houston's cycling community.
