Bike to Work Day is this Friday, May 18th.

Meet at Rice University and ride to City Hall with your City Council
Members. Council Members Mark Goldberg, Bert Keller, Michael Berry,
Annise Parker and Carol Alvarado will be riding along with the mayor's
Chief of Staff Oliver Spellman.

The new City of Houston Bikeway Map will be available for all
participants! It is a beautiful color map that identifies bike lanes,
bike routes, and bike paths as well as the proposed bike lanes, routes
and paths.

7:45 am Meet at Rice University gate #12 (Rice Blvd and Wilton)
8:00 am Leave Rice University by bicycle
8:45 am Arrive City Hall
9:00 am Greeting by Mayor Brown Proclamation of Bike to Work Day and
presentation of Official City Bicycle

11:00 am - 2:00 pm There will also be a lunch time rally with bike
shops, HPD bicycle patrol and more free bicycle maps

Please join us and let your city leaders know how important cycling
facilities are to YOU! Bring some friends and be the first to own a
city bicycle map.
