Not a great turn out this weekend for the ride....understandable given the
drive. Highly recommend making the trek sometime, though. What a
beautiful place! Awesome trails - great hills, switch-backs, a little
rooty, not crowded at all, and the roads in the park remind me of Beuscher
State Park (for a little extra workout). The trails are comparable to
Ruston, but more mileage about 15 miles. Gotta give it try some day. The
Tyler Bicycle Club also hosts time trials every other weekend this time of

Also wanted to pass along that Northwest Cycling is doing a ride and
camp-out this weekend after Thanksgiving. They will be camping out
Saturday and riding Sunday at Double Lake in the Sam Houston National
