With the holidays coming up, a challenging, fat-burning ride might just be
what the doctor ordered. At October's meeting we decided to have the next
GHORBA ride at Tyler State Park on Sunday, November 18th leaving Houston
about 8:00 a.m. and riding from noon until whenever. It is approximately a
3.5-hour drive. There is camping available for those who want to go up
Saturday instead of leaving Sunday morning (sorry, don't have the number,
but I believe it can be found by searching the Texas Parks and Wildlife
website). Directions and where to meet with be forthcoming.

The GHORBA November meeting will be held on Monday, November 12th at
Spaghetti Western at 7 p.m. Spaghetti Western is just south of I-10 on
Shepherd across the street from Jax Grill. The meeting will be held to
talk about the state of mountain biking in Houston - your input and
thoughts are needed - please consider joining the discussion.
