Please join us for GHORBA's September meeting. It will be held Monday,
Sept. 10th at 7 pm at Spagetti Western located on Shepherd just south of
I-10 (across from Jax Grill). We'll likely sit on the back deck, weather
permitting. Have lots of good news to share about trail grants obtained by
the cities of Houston and Pasadena!

Also note that GHORBA's September ride will be at Warda on Sunday,
September 23rd at 9:00 a.m. If anyone wants to carpool or caravan, we will
leave from the MARS store at Memorial Mall at 7 a.m. As always, there will
be two groups riding, one slow for beginners and another fast for our
experienced riders.

For those who have never ridden at Warda, it's one of TX's favorites. It
takes about 2 hours to get there, and it's a private MB ranch operated by
Doc Nolin and his wife. The access fee is $8; camping is available. The
course is mostly singletrack, loose rock, several creek crossings, and
three major down/uphills (that can be walked, beginners). It's not as
tight as MP, but it's more challenging than Huntsville. It's a great
place!
