Monday, July 9th 7:00 pm - GHORBA July monthly meeting at Spagetti Western
on Shepherd just south of I-10 (across from Jax Grill).

Thursday, July 12th 7:00 pm - GHORBA/Planetary Cycles Advanced Maintenance
Class covering brake and detraileur maintenance and disassembly. $10 per
person. Please call Adam at Planetary at (713) 668-2300 to make your
reservation.

Saturday, July 14th 8:00 am - GHORBA will be completing trail maintenance
at Memorial Park to fill mud holes in the trails. The work party should
last until about 11:00 am. Pay Dirt Points will be granted to
participants. Please consider coming with a shovel even if you've never
done trail maintenance before. The Parks Dept. is giving us fill dirt to
do this work (which we've never been allowed to do before), and we'd like
to have a good showing. We will meet in the western most parking lot near
the rugby/soccer field and trail head.

Sunday, July 15th 9:00 am - Group ride at Double Lake in the Sam Houston
National Forest. Directions will be sent out next weei. We had a great
turnout for Huntsville; let's keep it going!!

Saturday, July 21st 8:00 am - Riding skills clinic at TC Jester Park near
the swimming pool. Starts at 8:00 am and ends at noon. The clinic will
cover basic riding skills like balance, when to shift, proper riding form,
preride inspections, maneuvering over different types of terrain, etc.
Cost is $25 per person, includes lunch and a pair of riding socks. Must
have signed waiver and clinic fee submitted by July 16th. Riders of any
age welcome, however, people under 18 must have parent signature on the
