You can expect an excellent shiggy trail and a great time that those of you who've been out here for a Canal Entry trail know he can deliver. Beer, Jungle Juice, & food provided. On-After/Party at the bar & later a nakid swim at the lake. Pancake breakfast for hangers over.

We're offering tent camping or floor space for hanger's over at our place afterwards. Come early if you'd like to set up before the trail. Be sure to bring bedding, air mattresses (we have tile floors) & towels. Bring swim suits for daylight swimming in the beautiful lakes we have here. We now have a convenience store close by, but it's closed on Sunday so if you need special foods, drinks, or cigarettes bring extra with you. For you newbies, Canal Entry & Can't Touch This birthday hash quickly became referenced as the AARP Hash (the hares had nothing to do with the naming, but since one of them usually ended up as the FRB for most PCH3 trails, they had the last laugh). CTT is now in Ohio, so this year helping us celebrate will be Cock of the Rings who's birthday falls on the 22^nd.

Last year, pirates invaded Lake Worth, Florida.
During the city's annual4^th of July Raft Race, kayakers flying the Jolly Roger interfered with the race, preventing Kiwanis from gaining their 5^th straight victory and generally causing much mayhem and comic relief.
The pirates were then flagged down by City Mayor Jeff Clemens and awarded the"Crowd Pleaser" prize for favorite raft.

I'm happy to say that the PIRATES HAVE BEEN INVITED back this year by organizers and city officials.

This is what I'd like to do:

The Downtown Jewel Neighborhood Association (of which I am Secretary and Raft Race Chair)would like to call its raft the Maersk Alabama, and I'd like to seea pitched battle (using water cannons this time, NO contact, please!)between some "Somali" pirates and some Arrrrrrh-type pirates over the raft.

SERIOUS racers will still be able to get around us. They will be presented with a coupon they can redeem for a sense of humor at the end of the race.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU WANT TO PLAY.
I may be able to conjure some extra kayaks/canoes as some of us, like me, willbe on neighborhood association rafts

Milledgeville, Georgia, will take place at St. Stephen's Church in that
