That's probably Walt who actually passed out over this stupid deal. For a short time in the 60's NHRA had this bright idea that a car HAD to physically cross the finish line to get the win. In this case (at Riverside) both Walt and Dunlap broke so they had to get out of the cars and (by themselves) push them a 1/4 mile. First one across the finish line got the win. This deal pretty well put that idiotic rule in the trash can.  DE
