Hi Folks-Anybody have off tomorrow, July 3? Looking for a ride?Potomac Pedalers have these rides for us:July 3

North of Thurmont. We will head north to Emmitsburg and Fairfield on scenic rolling back roads in a rural setting. We will explore the northern Frederick valley with uninterrupted views of the Catoctin Mountains. A rest stop is planned at mile 21. Ride will be swept. No go on wet roads. Two water bottles recommended. Linda and Lanny Evans 301/590-0088.

Knock, Knock, Knockin' on the President's Door. I did this ride for the first time last month and it was really pretty. Quiet roads. A nice 12 mile warm-up before a little climbing through Catoctin Mountain Park. It's almost all downhill from mile 22. Let's hope the holiday weekend will keep the president away.
