Frederick Homeschool soccer is a soccer program for homeschooling children ages 3 to 18 (and also can include their nonhomeschooling siblings) who live in the Frederick, Maryland and surrounding areas. This is a family participation program, where parents volunteer for everything from coaching, to goal set up to cleaning up the field. The purpose of the program is to learn soccer skills, build self esteem in each child and build friendships among homeschooling families.
This program runs both in the spring and in the fall on Monday evenings from 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. The program runs appromimately 6 to 8 weeks. The cost is $7 per child. Each child must provide their own soccer ball, water bottle and shin guards, cleats are optional.
If you are interested in participating click the "join" button and send an email with your name, address and the names and ages of your children. The moderators must approve all requests to keep this list private. We ask for the name and address to assure that we keep this list safe for all.
When it is time for registrations to begin for the upcoming season, you will need to read through all the files within the current season's folder on the website. This will give detailed information on the current seasons location, price, dates, t-shirts, weather closings, late fee policies, etc etc. It is your responsibility to read through the files in fall 2008 folder to be sure you have all the correct and updated information.
