The Flyers Cycling Team is a friendly road cycling club that welcomes anyone serious about fast recreational riding. Our origins are in the Whittier area of Southern California (meeting at The Bike Builders on Whittier Blvd until Stan retired) though now we meet where ever the ride leader chooses. We ride every Saturday morning, and if no specific ride is scheduled, we meet at the Bonjour Bagel Cafe (15010 La Mirada Blvd La Mirada, CA) at 7:30am (summer may be earlier, winter may be later -- check messages for specifics). Rides are moderate to fast paced of 35 to 100+ miles, though shorter, less strenuous options are always available. No one gets dropped on the first half of the ride, if not the whole ride, as we regroup frequently. If you wish to join FlyersCycling, come ride with us! All are welcome!!

When Daylight Savings Time is in effect, we meet every Wednesday at John's Best (formerly Norths -- 16347 E. Whittier Blvd, Whittier, CA) at 5:30pm (5:00pm in October)for our popular "Hill Ride". This quad-buster will give you a great work-out in less than an hour-and-a-half as we do some of the steepest local hills that we can find! Join us!
