hey guys

hope ladder league went well yesterday. sorry i left early. i was
getting very cold and wet... both thrown teams were looking really
really good when i was there. hope you enjoyed it. cheers again yoz

congratulations dd for finishing 8th in div2 nationals. great result.

okay, so saturday 1st december flump played in london indoor league
and was represented by an old school thrown team

ham
sam
spike
joe
gaz
fred
adnan
harry
kaleigh

vs curve
final score 6 - 3 ?
despite a late tournament start time of 1300, we didnt really get a
chance to warm up at all. i have to say i was concerned that our
fitness was going to let us down, fortunately i was wrong. we started
hard and with harry, kaleigh and ham working the upfield and scoring
some great quick points. our d was quite lazy and curve scored a
couple of points but our win in this match was never in danger. really
good start to the day.

vs HCUK
final score 6 - 3 ?
HCUK played iso for a while actually, which was interesting. i dont
think they ever really used their height as well as they could have.
great defending in this game from spike and gaz in particular meant
that they were always struggling. HCUKs downfall was their d. it was
picked apart by our experienced handlers making this yet another
comfortable game.

vs lurve
final score 8 - 2 ?
it was difficult to get any sort of rhythym in the games, when they
were only 16 minutes long, but this match was probably the best for
us. our flow was awesome in this game, even against their zone, and
our experience really showed. fortunately for us we also had the legs
to do some running, with points coming form all over the field. joe
and fred got on the scoreboard with some simple end zone cuts, making
us look like a very accomplished.

vs go hcuk
final score 6 - 6
this was our only difficult game of the day to be honest. we hadnt
been tested in any of the other matches so our downfalls in d had
never been a problem, until now. flump went behind for the first time
in the day but we showed enough character to fight back. our o was
sweet and go hcuk couldnt touch us but our d was awful and we let
ourselves down, made it hard for ourselves. nevertheless we nearly
clinched it in the dying seconds of the game, if not for a debatable
travel call. really intense match to finish the day off, which was
great.

flump finshed unbeaten and won the first london indoor league of the year.
so awesome start for flump

the next london indoor league is on the 5th of january i believe
if youre interested in representing flump and hopefully winning indoor
league let me know. sorry for rejecting those of you who put your
names in for this one. please put them down again.

ill also try to continue to enter a thrown team into the second
division, so put your names down for that too...

thanks for a great weekend.
