Hi Flump,
 
In a hopeful bid to prevent us running out of players halfway through the season I thought I'd send a list of provisional Open and Mixed Tour dates for the coming summer from http://www.ukultimate.com/event :
 
Tour 0 - 15th and 16th March
OT1 - 5th and 6th April
OT2 - 26th and 27th April
OT3 - 10th and 11th May
MT1 - 7th and 8th June
MT2 - 28th and 29th June
MT3 - 12th and 13th July
 
Who fancies sorting a new batch of Flump shirts out then? Someone London-based who attends IC/KCL practices would be best for cajoling people into ordering a shirt. Also, could someone from both dD and KCL spread the word to newbies about Flump? Also, it'd be great if someone volunteered to captain/lead/organise Flump for each of the tours - perhaps OT captain could be dD player and MT captain could be a KCL player.
 
I know it's asking for a lot, but I can't help feeling we could have got more players this summer if we were more organised, which is a shame considering how well we did when we actually played. Finally, going out on a limb here, considering how popular Flump's summerleague team was this year, should summerleague priority go to players who play in part of the coming tour for Flump (plus Ham Samwich considering they founded Flump)?
 
I'm not expecting replies (yet), and these are simply suggestions from a bored balding man in Caerdydd. Just have a think about what Flump could do better and how we could do it better. Maybe we should arrange a meeting in a pub early next year to bash/tease/iron things out...
 
Manny B-uggered if he's organising anything this year. Haha. Seriously though, I'm happy to help pay tournament entry fees, but I don't want the hassle of actually getting people to turn up.
