Dear Ms. Warnick-Ellis,
I do not agree with your 1st condition. It is not fair to any FJI Member. Second of all, you are not authorized to call for a special meeting. A special meeting has already been scheduled for January 21, 2006, by its members on December 3, 2005.
Humberto Lopez
Executive Vice President of FJI

I will send out a notice of a special FJI meeting on January 28th to vote for new bylaws, elect temporary interim officers and set a date for an election meeting in March in the central part of the state. I will also send along the bylaws I have put together which do meet the USA Judo guidelines. We also propose to do the Judo awards banquet on the same day in the same place so people don't have to travel twice but I need to know how that works. Who determines who wins the awards? Is there a nominating committee? Where do you want to hold it? Who pays for it?These are my conditions:There will be one vote per chartered club, with any club associated with any former FJI officer who resigned at or prior to the December 3rd FJI meeting suspended from voting. No exceptions.Richard Leys will act as facillitator for the meeting until a President is elected who wishes to run the remaining part of the meeting.Anyone who wants to run for office in March must notify and pass the screening/credentials committee which will be set up at the January 28th meeting. All FJI records must be available to any members who wish to look at them at the January 28th meeting. This includes every type of record, including credit cards. There are other things we need to discuss before I would agree to work with you, so if you agree to the above conditions and want to discuss what else I need you to do before I would work with you, please call me at 321-480-2043ThanksAlicia Warnick-Ellis
