Next FJI Meeting to be held on August 15, 2009.

The Executive committee will meet at 12:00
The Credentials committee will meet at 1:45 to seat delegates for the Board of
Directors meeting
The Board of Directors meeting will run from 2:00 to 5:00

Location:
In the Kelly Ford Community conference Room of Melbourne Square Mall, Melbourne,
Florida Melbourne Square Mall is located on 1700 W. New Haven Ave. Melbourne,
Florida 32904.
It is conveniently located on US 192 (West New Haven Avenue), 4 miles east of
I-95 (Exit 180)

Any items for the agenda must be sent to the secretary at Alitig1@... by
July 17, 2009.
Currently on the agenda:
* Approval of new bylaws
* Funding of delegates to national meeting
* Distribution of grant funds
* Tabled Agenda items from the previous meeting

At the FJI Meeting held on June 13 in Lakeland, new draft bylaws were presented.
This draft was sent out to the Florida yahoo Judo group in June to everyone and
is available at www.floridajudoinc.org . The current bylaws are already
available on the website.

Shawn Mesa requests that anyone who has specific questions about sections of the
new bylaws write an email to Awejudo@... to be forwarded to the
committee so they can make sure your questions are answered at the meeting. We
only have 3 hours for the meeting and we want to make the approval of the new
bylaws as quick a process as possible.

All USA Judo registered clubs for 2009 must have FJI club membership and be
approved by the Credentials committee to have delegates seated at this meeting.
If your club does not appear on the following list of registered clubs obtained
from the USA Judo office please bring proof of USA Judo club registration with
the proper postmark date to seat a delegate at this meeting.

Clubs must have at least 5 registered members and the person listed next to club
must be registered. For those clubs where the Sensei is not going to be there
need to have a note from that Sensei appointing who is going to be the delegate.
