There are 23 countries which have confirmed participation.

There are 38 states within the USA which have confirmed participation.

 

The head quarters hotel still has king bed with sofa bed rooms available until July 6, at the $125.00 rate. I am holding several double beds suites if you have not reserved and need double beds suite please email.

 

The over flow hotel still has rooms available they have two options

 #1 $99.00 per night 1-4 people and free parking.

 # 2 $119.00 per night 1-4 people, free full breakfast and free parking.

 

The Sunday evening party will be held at the over flow hotel.

 

Training Camp has confirmed 110 registered athletes as of 06-30-09 

International from Canada, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Netherlands Antilles, Great Britain, Czech Republic, Costa Rica,  

 

Top USA clubs  will be attending Training Camp: Ki it su sai, Panther, Mojica, Mayo Quanchi, Tenri (Hawaii), Onikusu, San Jose Budist, Menomonee judo, Gardena judo, Charlottesville judo, Owen county judo, Camal Judo 

 

 

US Open Jr Judo Championships Update

 

Last coach certification course in South Florida this year and it is headed by head USA Coach Pat Burris.

Coaches certification clinic will be held at the head quarters Embassy Suites, application is located in the tournament application form.

Over 55 referee will be attending this years US Jr Open the majority are level A, B and C. The quality of referee will be great like usual.

 

 

The intermediate division will be well attended by USA athletes since it will determine the # 1 spot for the team representing USA at the Pan American Infantile Judo Championships.

 

Registration and all meeting will be held at the head quarters hotel Embassy Suites.

 

Training Camp will be held at the Head Quarters hotel Embassy Suites July 28, 29 and 30th.

 

The Sunday party will be held at the over flow Renaissance hotel.

 

The tournament Venue will be the Fort Lauderdale Convention Center.

 

There are two types of Patches

1. Country Patch (one will be provided free to the athlete)

2. Name on the back of the GI is mandatory.  Please look up the IJF rules. You have a option to order a name patch from the tournament application.
