TO ALL REGIONAL, STATE, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL FLORIDA JUDO REFEREES:

This is a reminder message to all State, Regional, National and International
Referees to attend our first Florida Judo Inc. tournament of the year 2008 on
Saturday January 26th, 2008 in Pembroke Pines, Florida. (see Tournament
information below).

We have worked out the details with Florida Judo Inc, President Gerry Navarro to
pay a stipend to all referees in attendance working the event for the entire
day.
* We will be having a brief referee clinic 1 hour before the starting time of
the tournament.
* We will be using IJF International rules for Junior and Seniors during the
tournament
* Please be punctual
* IJF Referee attire for the event, black jacket, grey pants, white shirt, black
tie, black socks.

Pre-Reg & Weigh-in:
Jr’s Novice 6:30 – 9:00 PM 1/25/08
Mandatory for Jr’s Novice and open to all divisions.

Jr’s Advance 8:00AM – 10:00 AM 1/26/08

Sr’s Novice/Masters Advance 8:00AM – 12:00PM 1/26/08

Sr’s Advance 8AM – 1PM 1/26/08

Novice: Youth White & Yellow division, Senior White to Green

Youth Competition: 11 AM Start Time
Divisions: 5, 6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16 (By entry)

Senior Novice Competition: 2PM - Weigh-in: till 12 noon

Masters Competition: 2PM – Weigh-in: till 12 noon
Age Divisions start at 30, with 10 year increments

Senior Advance Competition begins at 3:pm

RULES:
IJF (Modified)
* No blue gi required, have white & blue belt
* Double Elimination
* 2 minutes match Youth
* 3 minutes match Masters
* 5 minutes match Seniors
* No Shime Waza allowed under 13
* No Kansetsu Waza under 17

**Important* * MUST SHOW PROVE OF AGE BY BIRTH
CERTIFICATE, PASSPORT OR VERIFIED MEMBERSHIP CARD.

Tournament Director reserves the right to make changes as needed

Current USA Judo, USJF or USJA Member (Must show proof)
