Your a busy builder. Love the workshop. Thankfully people don't leave much on the roadside and health and safety rules don't allow skip diving at the local recycling centres. I did get two bike frames from back of a local bike shop to attempt a 2 wheel drive bolt together tandem to keep me enertained till I get my flevo gear together

Hi James,
Welcome aboard! Here's a tandem built with square tubing and regular bike frame parts that may appeal to you. http://www.atomiczombie.com/product-tradewinds.htm
It would be easy to build with drive train to each wheel.
I have found a lot of exercise equipment tossed to the side of the road or picked up cheap at a second hand store is made with 1.5mm square tubes. Also check out my site if you're looking for a little more inspiration.
