2AM heroes defend their lives, property, and animals this week in
Illinois, Texas, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, Nevada, Michigan, Georgia,
Oregon, and in South Carolina (right down the road from me!) ... if
any of y'all live near one of these heroes, stop by their place of
business and give em a handshake and a "well done". On a "last
chance" note, the zoning hearing on the "Last gun shop" in
Minneapolis is coming up May 19; Mark and Barb need all the support
they can get in their 10 year legal battle ... if you're in the area,
plan to attend the hearing, if not, send em a few bucks for the legal
fund (or buy one of their way cool "Murderopolis" coffee mugs) ..

In state news this week: Florida's governor signs the self defense
'meet force with force' bill into law, Kentuckians point out that
that "controversial" law has been on the books for years in their
state, Rasberry of the week to the Governor of Arizona who
suppresses citizens' gun rights by vetoing the "guns in bars" bill;
and the funniest story of the week has got to be the school lockdown
in New Mexico, where officials panicked over a "giant burrito".

Don't forget, 2 AM is supported entirely by reader contributions ...
