Hey guys,
Quick hi from Karratha. This place is great and treating me very
well. So far I have hooked a baramundi, spotted a few snakes, just
missed hitting with an eagle while driving, spent valentines on a
secluded beach with Anne, swam among the mangroves, got caught in a
major flood in Queensland (drive through emerald) and just missed a
cyclone in Karratha. I wish you all where here to enjoy the
excitement with us. My new job is great and cheelenging with terrific
people around me., i'm the branch manager for Burkeair Karratha.
mainly selling Daikin split system A/C's. I get out to the mine
sites, which is interesting and constantly meet new people. At this
stage we live in a donger and will move into a house in April. So any
visitors are welcome, especially before the International Cup.
Once I'm a little more settled I will post some photos of this
BEAUTIFUL area. The desert has turned green after the weather decided
to flatulate on us and blow strong wind and rains our way.
We are looking closely at a few boats for fishing trips.
We will return to Finland in June 14th to finalise our situation
there and hopefully have a proper going away party.
Luv ya's all,
Izzy
