Next thursday - if it's raining knives and old 'mummos' from the sky
(Izzy can set even more precise limits) and there's snow on the
Kaisaniemi field we could go to the renewed Kontula sport hall.
There's remodelled multipurpose sports hall. Everything is new - right
up to the lockers, saunas and swimming pools.
There's also a fitness gym 'FIX Kontula', which has a 130 m2 workout
gym, too. On thursday there's 50 min body pump at 6pm that we could
do. I'm going to check tomorrow if we need to enrol beforehand. After
the pump swimming few cliks and sauna-aaah! And this week it's 1 €
only (I'll check that too).
If we need to do this plan B, I propose to meet at the entrance
(connections below) 17.45 for the pump, and who can't make it - meet
you at the pool at about 7pm. But if global warming does its job and
Pekka Pouta's forecasts are not true, let's all meet at the Kaisaniemi
field 7pm again.
HOW TO GET THERE? The Kontula Swimming Hall is located at the Kontula
Shopping Centre in East Helsinki. The transport connections are good.
The metro stops next to the shopping centre. Buses 78, 94 and 95 serve
the shopping centre. And you all know the 'reittiopas'at
http://aikataulut.ytv.fi/reittiopas/fi/ and it's in english too.
