This Sunday 10-26-08 there will be a work party from 10 am till 2 pm .
PLEASE make sure you show up to this one as we are moving some baskets
around and will need everyone to lug and carry .
PLEASE Bring shovels and wheelbarrows if you have them .
Work gloves are good too .
Also we are running during the month of november glow series at akron .
EVERY friday night during the month of november we will be playing
glow at akron . We will start at 7 PM sharp which means I would like
everyone there by 6:30 PM who intends to play . Entry fee will be $10
a person which includes 4 glow sticks to tape to the bottom of your
discs . Tape will be provided .
My suggestion is that everyone goes out to the DOLLAR Tree and gets
glow sticks for themselves . They are ones big enough to circle almost
the whole bottom ring of the disc . Champion discs and Z series work
real well with these glow sticks .
GLOW discs are allowed also but flashlights are only allowed to shine
up disc , find discs and walk safely . NO SHINING UP THE BASKET TO PUTT .
Fuck if we didn't fucking glow James Thompson last annual results:
First I'd like to thank my sponsors:
Phil Ross: pay-out structurer, last minute glow-stick provider, butt
of all jokes, got boo-ed by Prue guy.
Andy King: out-basket illuminator, glow-stick donator, post-tourney
doubles expediter extraordinaire, most likely brought food but I never
heard for sure who brought what so if I'm wrong sorry, all around
facilitator person.
Dave Hero: back-nine basket lighter, pro-glow golfer guy.
Snuffy Snyder: front-nine basket lighter, way too nice to be involved
with angry glow TD guy.
Dave Prue: scorecard having, score-keeping, sign posting, awards
ceremony disc-organizing, Phil Ross boo-ing guy.
Russda Rasta: Quietly helping tape discs, disc finding, laid-back
positive guy.
I'm sure I left off people that were helping -- it's always
fascinating to see how many people pitch-in to run a Sedgley event --
although the weather was way too nice and the people way too nice for
my taste -- I'm sure I said "fuck" the most so if there's ever another
last annual glow tournament please increase the "fucks" -- make your
TD feel more at home.

Yes -- the pros played a different lay-out and played an extra basket.
I was busy depleting the Yuengling supply to tell if anyone had too
much to gripe about with the format/layout. Seemed to work from my end
of it.
Scott Kendall's spirit showed and threw a back-hand roller for
everyone off the tee of 18 ... . . no one had to count Scott's drive
and no one was able to get the "one".
The pro play-off was anti-climatic ending on basket 1. Murphy parked
it under the basket and I parked it under the 1st bush on the right --
fuck.
The "Prue-boo" incident mentioned a couple times above was when Phil
air-balled a 17' putt on #5 and Prue immediately boo-ed him. I found
it amusing.
The impromptu post-tourney doubles round was high-lighted by Prof E's
hair. It was very bright.
Thanks to everyone that showed and thanks to everyone that played.

That would be the conflict -- I'd vote for them taking 2 of the next 3
and putting an end to the series prior to Friday. I sent an email and
explained about the possible conflict -- they're looking into
rescheduling if necessary.

Well -- we're just one day away from weather.com having actual
weather forecasts for the 17th -- "Glow Day". Wow -- my guess is
you'll get tired of those updates from me by the time G-Day rolls
around.
# of participants predictions:
warm and dry (+50dg no rain) = 30
cold and dry (below 50dg no rain) = 25
warm and wetish (+50dg light rain) = 10
warm and wet (+50 real rain) = 3 (Phil, me and some 1/2 drunk fool
who missed his ride to happy hour)
cold and wet = 2 (Phil and I)

ps -- way more people than the above have said they're coming . ... .
I'll believe it when I see it -- glow is always a great time but
getting Sedgley-ites to change their routines ain't easy.
OK, well... my new job pulled the plug on my "test" account.
I still own the domain though. Now all I need is a web host. Should I
sign up for another (non-test) Reseller package at Fasthosts?
Maybe. It was fun pretending to be a fledgling HTML coder while it
lasted. It's free for a year, but then $500/yr or $50/mo after that
and I don't have enough clients to be a real developer and sell web
space/sites.
I'll probably go for a cheap individual account instead or maybe see
if my ISP will let me set up an FTP on my home pc. (See, I still
don't know what I'm talking about, but that doesn't stop me from
posting or talking!!)

waiting on the dot com site). What ever happened to the so
called 'dot com' site? I haven't heard nothing on it as of late
