Hey everyone,
As new PDGA Coordinator for the state of Pennsylvania, I've
coordinated with 3-time Women's World Champion Des Reading and her
husband Jay Reading to arrange a disc golf clinic in conjunction with
random draw doubles at Sedgley Woods on Thursday September 13th at 4
PM. The Readings will be in the area for the Yetter Champion's Cup at
Tyler State Park that weekend.
All novices, intermediates, advanced & pro players, young or old,
should plan on getting a chance to learn from the 3-time Women's World
Champion and one of the best touring pros in the country. This is an
opportunity you won't want to miss!

The Milk the Goat will take the place of the monthly. All other
scheduled events for august are the same. To keep the spirit of the
monthly alive, I will be taking "side bets" $10 from people if they
still want to play it like a monthly. Then according to who all gets
in, money will be awarded to so many places. This process will be
taken care of when you register. AMs can also do the same thing.
Questions? ask now or forever hold your piece...in your hand. HA!

We still play every Tuesday night. It's $10 a player, random draw doubles.
Only the winners get paid. It's supposed to be sunny and hot tomorrow, so come

as far as I know, it is not common to 'play-off' in thursday/sat
doubles. usually there is a ctp- so no one should get paid for an ace
in a playoff that wasn't even supposed to happen.

Let the new law spread through out the land for all eyes to see. The
people saw the law was good, so it became: 'Sedgley Law'. And all
the people said, "amen".
Sedgley Law 42007: No player/group shall play any extra holes (crack
ho's included) of the assigned course before relinquishing their
score cards to the person(s) in charge (being the TD, Tag Czar or
doubles instagator).
Sedgley Law 42007-A: Ace pot monies are only awarded to a player(s)
who throw a hole-in-one during the stipulated course determined by
the person(s) in charge (being the TD, Tag Czar or doubles
instagator). Any playoff aces are of your own fault and you end up
being shit out of luck. You should have thrown the damn thing in
regulation play ya jerk.
All amendments are subject to change upon payment to the author(s)and
are determined by the author(s) how long they are in effect depending
on their mood and mode of play.
So it was written, so it be done.

The -16 was by Big Rick and his apparently incorrectly pooled partner Rob, I
think from Delaware. The E-Mann factor was the reason for their in the dark
finish although I was told by Snuffy that after their round was over they
decided to play some more holes rather than turn in their scorecard. If so
that's pretty dumb. The playoff was for 2nd place as it were but should not have
occurred in that case since when there is a tie for any place other than 1st
the monies for the tied places are added together and split evenly.

Really not so much shit heaped upon yours truly. It would be quite helpful
if I would play better on Tuesdays. Perhaps I could make some cash on Tuesday
nights by selling "Klein" insurance!! Winning by throwing the disc less times
than everybody else would be more satisfying however.

You know . . .back when I ran Tuesday doubles I thought that I had the worst
luck in golf. I realize that this doesn't have anything to do with Tuesday
night, but there has to be some kind of a curse going on here. How much shit can
one guy take?
I'm thinking that there's got to be some kind of a reward to get Klein the money
on Tuesday night . . . . .?? Mike should get a chance to reshuffle or something
if he gets a sucky guy next Tuesday . . . ??

When is a Thursday doubles ace NOT an ace?? And you were in the ace pot??
When you are mistaken and assume that your teams -13 41 and the other team's
-13 41 are good enough to playoff for first place before all groups are in!!
Prue/MKlein and JoshW/DarkBear went and played off thinking their -13's were
not to be beaten. Both teams birdied 1 and parred 2. On 3, JoshW/DarkBear
parked and then Dave Prue parked. Mike Klein then said: "Now I'll just ace it
for
the win". And I did!! A skip ace to boot on a shot I wasn't that thrilled
with!! After much celebrating and rejoicing and wondering if this should be paid
off by the ace pot we started to walk back to the parking lot. As we were
walking up by 5's basket, Snuffy drives by and says: "Playoff's over, 13 down
isn't good enough!!" Bummer!! The last group produced a -16 38 and rendered our
little playoff moot. Anyway, it was fun and makes for a really cool story.
It also brings up this question. If you playoff for 1st place during Thursday
doubles and get an ace, is it paid out if you are in the ace pot?? I don't
think there's any precedence for this. Just wondering, Klein.
