I talked to Jude last night at about 11:15pm. He
said that Shelley did indeed have a heart attack, not
related to skins he was playing during doubles. At the
time I talked to Jude, who had just gotten home from the
hospital, he said that when he had left they were still
running tests on Shelley, who apparently was joking with
the doctors about the Simpsons (Hey everybody! HELLO DR. NICK!).
He was resting comfortably at the time.
Jude is going to see Shelley today, and will likely have
more info later today or tomorrow.

First things first, Shelley Singh experienced chest pains and shortness of
breath midway through the round. MasterP drove him to the hospital. At this
time I don't know his condition, but our thoughts and prayers should be with
him
and hopefully he'll be okay. On to the golf. 19 players played 1-18 BORE and
here are your results:
PaulW/Goat -9 45 $22 won CTP
MikeK/Scott -9 45 $12 double bogey
JGB/Trish -8 46 bogey
EBush/KevinB -8 46 bogey -8's donated $4
RNMB/CPoole -7 47
Emann/EMann -4 50
Snuffy/Russda -4 50 bogey
PeteW/Nan +1 55 4 bogies
Heff/Lisa and Shelley/Jude DNF for obvious reasons.
Here's hoping that everything turns out okay. Later for now.

of course if you're running it again you start whenever you want -- as
of now I'm in for Tuesday night.

Sundown on Tuesday April 5th is 7:30 PM. Anybody in? Let me know. We could
draw at 5:40 and hopefully tee off VERY SOON AFTER!!! If it sounds like we'll
get 8 or more to play that would be nice. Respond if you think you'll be in,
otherwise we could wait a couple of weeks and start a little later like last
year. Klein out.

I am also in, when I can make it, We "spring" ahead this weekend, I
beleive its actually Sunday.

The field is down to 11!
Per the harsh 2005 skins rules- the last players to reach the next bracket
are subject to DQ.
So far the Elite Eight slots have been filled by Topher, Tim G., E-Gore,
Russda & Magic.
There are three slots left for the winners of Brian A. v. Judwah, Shelly v.
Rusty & Nick T. v. C.Poole
Fair warning to the last 6 players mentioned: Once the other two matches
have played to a winner- the last team to play their match shall have 7 days
to play once they are given notice by the TD or shall forfeit their match-
unless an agreed upon winner is declared or the match conceded.
I want to run another skins tourney fund raiser for worlds before the
worlds. Please hurry up and play! (Thanks) Magic

Mike Klein and Tim Gonnatta played their second round match today in a light
drizzle. Tim chose hole 1 red to start as the lower seed. Both players made
par on 1. 2 skins up for grabs on hole 2 red. Both players have nice drives
and nice ups. Tim makes and Klein GAKS. Tim's up 2-0. Hole 3 is yellow. Tim is
by the tree and Klein hits left and early. Klein has a nice up to 20 feet.
Tim misses his bird and rolls 35 feet away. He misses and Klein makes. Tim's up
2-1. Klein picks red 4 and is in the gully. Tim is at the log. Klein misses
and Tim makes. Tim leads 3-1. Tim picks red 5 and both players make 3. 2
skins on the line for hole 6. Tim picks red and hits halfway down. Klein hits
earlier. Klein parks with a nice flick and Tim hits a tree short of the basket.
He misses the putt and it's 3-3. Klein calls blue 7 and parks it. Tim is 50
feet short and nails it! 2 skins on hole 8 blue. Klein is 35 feet right pin
high and Tim is 5 feet behind him. Tim nails it! Klein must make to keep the
match going. Swish! Klein calls blue 9 and gets halfway there. Tim has a 30
footer right. Klein flicks and parks it. Tim misses and we head to the back
nine. Klein calls blue 10 and throws a weak, fluffy, short, ladylike drive! Tim
is at the right base of the tree 15 feet away. Klein to stay alive from 55
feet? No. Not even close! Tim makes and wins the match 7 skins to 3.

In today's Philadelphia Daily News there's an article on the 76ers Kyle

The duties and obligations of a TD are full of strange albeit bitter sweet
ironies.
Frankly, I want to squeeze in another Skins Tourney as a fund raiser for
Worlds this year. This may be the best/only way to move the tourney along.
(I would have sent the same e-mail if you won too!)
Nice shootin' there yourself, Tex. Sorry for wearing out all the luck on the
course in the process...

C'mon Paul. The field is greatly weakened by upsets and is yours for the
taking. You sure you can't get Tim out there before 3/20? Otherwise it's
shaping up to be an E-Gore Nick T. final!

Shout out to Paul W: Your match with Tim G. (856-498-6407) is the last of
the first round skins matches yet to be played. The field of 32 is now down
to 13. Can you please call Tim to see if he is willing to forfeit or play?
(You've had 6 months to play!) I'd rather not DQ you guys, but I'd also like
to start 2005's tourney earlier this year too. Please advise by no later
than Sunday 3/20 who will be advancing in the tourney or I'll have to sit
you both out. (Assuming you two play, may I suggest trying to get Mike Klein
there too (609-841-9799) so he can play the winner who can then play Topher
for the final 4 spot?
Thanks.
Magic.

Why so angry????
Since Saturday is an official tag day, we can't actually tell someone
they can't play tags. however, if you don't help for clean up and
you just show up for tags, the ridicule you receive will make you
wish you had come out for the clean up. (and yes, we know that it may
be hard to pick up trash that can't be seen under the snow....we'll
do our best and all help is appreciated).
